Catul Kiti
Catul is the Japhet Family Foundation President and the oldest son of Japhet Kiti. Catul has long sought to honor his father’s legacy by giving back to the Vitengeni community. Drawing on his strong leadership and development experience in the private sector, Catul seeks to give back to and help secure a better future for the children at the AKMS and the community at large.

Sara Conzemius Kiti
Sara is the foundation Vice President and CFO and the wife of Catul Kiti. Sara has a long history leading and working in non-profit organizations and is a successful entrepreneur working on issues of social justice and equity in the clean energy transition.

Kahaso Kiti
Kahaso is the daughter of Japhet and a Japhet Family Foundation Director. Kahaso seeks to leverage her experience in finance and her strong desire to support generational change through education. as a way to honor her father’s legacy.

Claudie Kiti Bustamante
Claudie is the eldest daughter of Japhet and a Japhet Family Foundation Director. Claudie brings years of leadership experience in education and healthcare in government and the nonprofit sector. Her passion and energy for bringing better opportunities to the children of Vitengeni is boundless.

Quinn Van de Grift
Quinn is a Japhet Family Foundation Director and the step-grandson of Japhet. Quinn is a trained mechanic, an amateur photographer and is supporting our farming efforts by spending summers in Kenya working directly in the community.

EJ Van de Grift
EJ is a Japhet Family Foundation Director and the step-grandson of Japhet. EJ is studying Computer Science at Northwestern University and supports our web development and analytics.

Maita Kacheru
Maita is a nephew of Japhet and our on-the-ground liaison in Kenya. Maita lives in the coastal region of Kenya and has a personal connection to the community being served by the Ambassador Kiti Memorial Secondary School. He visits the Ambassador Kiti Memorial Secondary School frequently and works closely with the staff and principal to prioritize needs and find resources.

Dharmendra Pothuri
Dharmendra is an advisor to the JFF and is a seasoned Agribusiness professional, with more than 2 decades of experience in international trade and development. He is very passionate about agriculture and firmly believes that integrating community-based approach with sustainable and climate smart agriculture will help rural families and communities in achieving food security.

Bill is a longtime leader in education, a retired public school superintendent and principal. Bill provides guidance and advice on projects related to education and believes very firmly in our mission that education is the key to lifting families and communities.
